Pinot Noir Hospices de Strasbourg

A beautiful garnet red color. On the nose, an intense, delicately woody bouquet dominates, with aromas of ripe small red berries. Made from grapes harvested at optimal ripeness, this beautifully fragrant Pinot Noir combines elegance with power. On the palate, it expresses delicious black cherry and sour cherry fruit, nuanced by woody and vanilla notes.
This wine of character shows persistence on the finish with fine and silky tannins. Its aging in foudre has contributed to the harmony of the tannins and given it all its power and complexity.

Special feature: This wine, harvested and vinified at the Cave de Cleebourg, was then selected by a jury of tasters as having the quality, potential and honor to be aged in the ancestral foudres of the Cave des Hospices.
