Auxerrois Lieu-Dit Keimberg

A brilliant light yellow colour with slightly golden reflections. This wine has a beautiful expressive nose, all in finesse, with notes of lemon and white peach. On the palate it is balanced and racy with fine fruitiness and citrus fruit notes. This fruit combines harmoniously on the finish with hints of acacia and orange blossom, leaving a remarkable aromatic persistence on the finish.

Its sandy loamy soil and its privileged exposure give it a beautiful structure and an interesting ageing potential for an Auxerrois.

Specifics

Terroirs: Sandy clay loam, perfectly suited to the Auxerrois region.

Cultivation practices: Yield control, limited to 68 Hectolitres/ Ha, soil tillage and integrated pest management, compliance with an internal charter and the regulations in force for the AOC Alsace Lieu Dit, inspection of the plots by a Technical Commission during the summer to validate compliance with the charter.

Vinification: Selection of grapes at harvest time, manual harvest, rigorous sorting, slow pressing respecting the harvest, alcoholic fermentation in temperature-controlled vats, filtration on tangential filter.

Food pairing: This wine will go perfectly with grilled fish, white meat, and other refined dishes where a white wine is a must.

This Auxerrois can be enjoyed now to take advantage of its fruitiness and freshness. But this Grand Vin with an interesting ageing potential suggests a nice evolution over the next 5 years.
